womens club

The purpose of this club is to bring women together in friendship for social and charitable functions. We enjoy monthly luncheons each featuring a unique program or entertainment from September through May of each year, bus trips to various venues throughout the season, and one or two fundraising events through the year. Dues are $25 per year.

monthly meetings

Seating for each meeting begins at 11:00am; business meeting starts at 11:45; lunch is served at 12:00 Noon with our feature program following the the meal. Once the minutes are prepared from a luncheon meeting, clicking on the date will open a window so you can view them.

Jason Joens, principal at Fivay High School, joined us in October to accept a check for $1,500 to be used for student scholarships in their Technical Education Programs. Andrew Maurin, CEO of Suncoast Voices for Children, accepted a donation of $1,500 to help provide for the needs of children (such as clothes, shoes, and school uniforms) and giving them opportunities to participate in sports, music lessons, summer camps, and other extracurricular activities

   This was held on - March 20, 2019. Thanks to everyone's support we were able to present a check for $4,500 to Moffitt's "Families First" Program.

  • Providing parents guidance in talking about cancer with their children
  • Creating opportunities for health expression and validation of feelings
  • Promoting parent’s understanding of childhood growth and development
  • Counseling children who experience difficulties adjusting to a parent’s illness
  • Offering peer support and lasting connections for parents and children
  • Encouraging family communication and fun at weekend programs
